Brent crude trading at $84.14/bbl

Crude oil futures declined 1.04 per cent to Rs 6,759 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil traded 0.54 per cent lower at $80.97 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.61 per cent down at $84.14 per barrel in New York.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery fell Rs 71 or 1.04 per cent to Rs 6,759 per barrel with a business volume of 5,799 lots.
